  11. Help!  Can't Unzip a file!  There is an explanation, and I need to pick 
  12. some brains over this one.

  14. I 'surf' on a CBM 128...standard model, not upgraded, no hard drive, just 
  15. a 1571 floppy;  have a model 1670 Commodore modem/1200 (which cost $9.95 
  16. from Software Support last year 1-800-356-1179); Common Sense software; 
  17. and IBM color monitor cuz that is the only  way  I could get it to do the 
  18. VT100 terminal emulation to get on-line with my local internet provider.  
  19. No the monitor  does not work with other stuff, just switch to regular 
  20. monitor for regular word processing etc.  Anyway, I was determined to get 
  21. on line and did.

  23. Besides wallowing in great new stuff, I am doing genealogy research for 
  24. my Mom and Mom in law.  The person at Gedcom sent me a file Zipped.  I 
  25. saved it somewhere at my net connection (obviously my files store there, 
  26. and I try to download regularly so they don't send me nasty notes!!), and 
  27. now the difficulty is how to UN-ZIP it.  My e-mail program on Magick.Net 
  28. is PINE 3.89 from U of W.  this query is going out with the help of 
  29. PICO.  So I do not have windows, or little in and out baskets, and shucks 
  30. I am new at this...so, HELP!  Does anyone know how, or even if I can 
  31. unzip a file?  Maybe cannot be done with what I have, and my ability level.
